行動學術實體化:成立政大社科院社會創新實驗室

大學的研究成果與能量,如何在社區的關鍵問題意識中,磨合出一條切中時弊展現果效的道路,需要不斷嘗試失敗,需要敢於實驗的勇氣。


社會創新實驗室首次學生提案會議,邀請社區經營者、青年設計師、狩獵達人與企業代表擔任評審,並成功促成烏來與大溪的地方行動提案。


  大學是新知的孵育器,是培養人才的搖籃,也是制度創新的推手。然而,這三種功能各自源於研究、教學與社會服務等活動,往往個別成員各自進行,少有整合進而產生具綜效性的成果。社會科學院一方面開方國際前沿的尖端研究,另一方面也以台灣社會為研究標的及場域,肩負服務在地的責任,生產的知識也必須能夠解決迫切的本土

問題,因此成立「社會創新實驗室」,對內整合產、教、研等活動,對外連結政府、企業、非營利單位、其他大院院校,以及社區組織的資源,推動社會改革。


  為了達到上述目的,該實驗室有幾項工作重點。首先,在長期經營的社區設立培力基地,為有興趣投入社會創新活動的同學提供有經驗及可信賴的社區業師;其次,透過制度改良、種子基金的提供,以及在地連結,鼓勵更多同仁投入相關活動;第三,透過開設具備精彩參訪活動的相關課程以及競賽活動,吸引同學呼朋引伴加入;第四,提供國際合作的海外活動,以及本院國際學生的投入,開啟參與師生的國際視野;最後,成立院級平行的「產學合作辦公室」,讓創新活動能夠在學生就業與產業發展等面向有持續性的影響。


University is a birthplace for new knowledge, a cradle for cultivating talents, and a driving force for innovation. However, these three functions each originated from activities such as research, teaching, and social services,which are often carried out by individual members, and rarely integrated to produce comprehensive results. On one side, the College of Social Sciences conducts cutting-edge research on the international frontier. On the other side, it also takes Taiwanese society as the research target and field. It shoulders the responsibility of serving the local community. The knowledge produced must also be able to solve urgent local problems. Therefore,the establishment of "Social Innovation Laboratory", internally integrates production, teaching, and research activities, and externally links the resources of the government, enterprises, non-profit units, other colleges and universities, and community organizations to promote social reform.


In order to achieve the objectives, the laboratory has several focuses. First, set up training bases in long-term communities to provide experienced and reliable community teachers for students who are interested in investing in social innovation activities. Second, through system improvements, providing seed fund, and local connections, encourage colleagues to participate in related activities. Third, through the opening of relevant courses and competitions with exciting visits and activities, attract students to invite friends to join. Fourth, provide international cooperation for overseas activities, and the input of international students of our school, open up the international vision of participating teachers and students. Finally, establish a college-level "Industry-University Cooperation Office" to enable innovative activities to have a sustainable impact on student employment and industrial development.
